1. What Are Cookies and Local Storage?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by your browser when you visit a website. Local storage is a browser feature that lets a website store key-value data on your device so it can be read again later. Both are widely used by modern web apps to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
GuildGadgets uses both cookies (for authentication) and local storage (for preferences and recent activity). This policy lists every cookie and local storage key we set.
2. Essential
These cookies and keys are required for the Platform to function. They cannot be disabled, because without them you would not be able to log in or stay signed in.

Essential Local Storage

3. Analytics
These local storage keys are used to remember your browsing activity on this device. They are optional. You may decline them using the "Manage Preferences" option of the cookie consent banner, and you may delete them any time through your browser. When you decline analytics, the platform stops writing to these keys and deletes any previously-stored analytics data on this device at the moment you save your choice.

4. Preferences
These local storage keys remember the display preferences you explicitly select. They are optional. If you decline Preferences, your selected location and currency still apply for the duration of your visit, but they are not stored on your device and will not persist after you leave or reload the page. When you decline Preferences, the platform deletes any previously-stored preference data on this device at the moment you save your choice.

5. Managing and Deleting Cookies
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and local storage through their settings. Clearing them will sign you out and reset your preferences.

6. Essential IndexedDB Storage
GuildGadgets uses IndexedDB (via Dexie, under the database name imageCacheDB) to cache data that the page you requested needs to render. These stores are essential to delivering the service you explicitly asked for (a rendered page with prices). They are not deleted by the cookie consent banner because they are required for the page to function; you can clear them through your browser at any time.

8. Withdrawing or Changing Your Consent
You can change your cookie consent choices at any time from your Settings page by clicking Review Cookie Preferences. This re-opens the consent banner so you can accept or decline analytics again. Declining analytics stops all future analytics writes and deletes any analytics data already stored on this device at the moment you save.
You can also clear all cookies and local storage using your browser settings (see Section 4). Note that clearing analytics yourself does not change the platform's record of your choice — the banner will re-appear on your next visit since your decision is no longer on record.
